A New Game Idea

I've been watching a lot of Filipino TikTok videos in the last few years. Although I didn't grow up in the Philippines, I like the videos that are meant to elicit nostalgia. A lot of the videos are obviously made with AI, which is a topic for another day. I don't remember when I began to look for these type of videos on Youtube, but they made their way to my algorithm somehow. I bet there's a word for feeling nostalgic about a time one didn't live through. If there is, I don't know it. But that's how I would describe the feeling I got when I watched a depiction of Manila in the early 1900s. Since watching that particular video, the idea of creating some kind of 3D digital experience, maybe even a video game, has not left my mind. I'm also interested in sharing popular folktales from the Philippines through a visual media. Maybe I'll share what I come up with here. I have a poor history with not finishing personal projects, but maybe writing about it will keep me motivated. I'll make this post my first entry.
